Bernina Aurora 430E

One thing that prevents me from giving the 430E a perfect score is that it doesn’t have an advanced thread cutter like those found in other machines. Other than that it does pretty much all that I need.

I recently got into quilting and I must say this machine is great for free motion. I bought it primarily for sewing, and to do embroidery work secondary. This machine is advertised online with a laptop (of course it doesn’t come with one) so I guess it lacks a good built-in display. I guess it’s like that because the machine is mainly designed to be a sewing machine with embroidery as an add-on rather than a traditional sewing/embroidery combo. At least that’s how i look at it.
