I have always been interested in creating a simple website for fun. A site to showcase my hobbies and crafts. This book really helped in giving the self-confidence I needed to finally get started. The writing is easy to understand and not boring. It’s broken into parts that makes sense. I especially liked ‘Part I: The Web Environment’. Jennifer guides you through in detail about web standards and accessibility which is necessary for designing a site that reaches everyone and really helps you look ahead to avoid many common pitfalls.
