Got a Pfaff originally and this one had tons more things at the same price. You can combine stitches and save them, embroider to your heart’s content, take advantage of all the great stitches they put in here. It’s a grand machine at a great price. Glad I dumped the Pfaff and got this one. Much better.
This machine has been a pain ever since I got it.
The owner of the business I bought it from is a real jerk
and is incompitent. I took it to another dealer and they were not much better. The tech is not factory trained.
I contacted Brother and they have stooges answering the telephone. All they can do is to read back what is printed for them to say.
I am caught now, two weeks after coming from the dealer shop for a repair, with a broken machine again and trying to get Christmas Sewing done that I had anticipated. Some gifts for Christmas.
Best advice…. buyer beware!
I had a little 270D sewing and embroidery machine for a year and it just whetted my appetite for something bigger and better so I bought the Innovis’ 1200 and really love it but now I’d love to have the new and bigger one!
This is a great entry machine for those seeking to embroider. I picked this machine out for a good friend wanting to get into machine embroidery with a limited budget. She’s been using it for months without a complaint.
The machine can connect to PC via USB cable and it also has a card slot. Since she’s already got a laptop, this machine is perfect (in fact she’s got two). It comes with a hard cover and lots of accessories. It’s quiet, stitches great, and beautiful to look at.
It does not come with a colored touch-screen or USB stick connectivity, but for around $1,400, it’s a pretty good deal. One other major factor in choosing this machine is the location and friendliness of the store and the classes offered.
Ever since I got my hands on this beauty I’ve been embroidering everything I can!!! It’s sooo addictive! I like how they implemented the easy threading since my eyes are not that great. The operating manual is fairly straightforward but I attended the free classes anyways as my dealer recommended. If you’re a newbie in machine embroidery like myself, I highly recommend taking classes.
